Winter Ales festival 2006 / Manchester

I have been enjoying Real Ales for some time. Recently I had a chance to experience the ultimate in Real Ales - The National Winter Ales Festival in Manchester, UK. I went there with a friend of mine and we spent there three heavy days, lodging in a upstairs of a cheap pub near the festival site and sampling through the endless line of real ale pumps in festival building and nearby pubs. The festival web page is here. Esa arranged us an invitation to the trade session that was held in early Thursday before the place was opened for the general public. It gave me the possibility to take some pictures showing the place before it became full. Like the calm before storm..
