Faroe Islands
Slept most of the day. Visited Faroe Islands
shortly - will be back in two weeks for a longer stay.
Faroe Islands are not the best islands for beach
holidays, it seems. We arrived to Faroe Islands in the afternoon in an rainy
weather for a short visit before continuing to
Iceland.
Torshavn. The harbor was very tight for a ship as large as Norröna. The bright houses make the town nice even in a rainy, gray day.
One of the bright sides was a local rowing team training and waving beside our ship.
Later in to the night, it's getting quite windy on deck and Norröna (130m in length) is rocking steadily and occasionally vibrating from hitting a big wave at 20 knots. However, Atlantic ocean is yet to reveal its true nature...
